Says the Piano

Yiruma

This playlist is the first 26 pieces recorded in my "one-a-day" challenge I began on March 22, 2020, the day our piano studio moved to online lessons during the beginning of the Covid-19 Outbreak.

These were all learned and recorded daily, and posted to my social media to inspire my students to keep practicing!

Inscape

Alexandra Stréliski

This set of 11 pieces are heart-wrenchingly beautiful, and were a lovely addition to my Covid-19 Challenge. The challenge ended up becoming my "100 Pieces in 100 Days" challenge!

Alexandra's music here is so soft and flowing, with wonderful patterns.

Alexandra Stréliski

I loved the first 11 pieces so much, that I learned the other 12 pieces she wrote. I actually learned these over a period of about 3 or 4 days, and then recorded all 12 pieces in one, utterly exhausting, devastatingly gorgeous day. My heart is so full listening to these pieces! <3

Selections from...

Holland Albright

Holland Albright is a video game and movie music composer from New York City who has written insanely great music! I decided to pick a few pieces of his to highlight during my challenge!

I hope you enjoy these as much as I do! They're FABULOUS!

EUSA

Yann Tiersen

Yann Tiersen writes incredible music for piano, taking harmonies and patterns and weaving them in the most intricate and beautiful manners.

You almost hold your breath while you listen to these gorgeous pieces. I hope you enjoy this playlist of his whole book: EUSA!

Selections from...

Jacob Ladegaard

For my final 24 pieces (plus 2 bonus pieces), I selected the majority of Jacob Ladegaard's solo piano collection.

He writes such beautiful and accessible melodies, which was a perfect way to finish off my "100 Pieces in 100 Days" Challenge! Thanks for listening!
